Originally a royal hunting lodge and now home to Lord and Lady Rotherwick, this historic Cotswold house is surrounded by picturesque terraces, lawns and lakes which spill out onto rolling parkland and ancient forests where peacocks and wild deer roam freely.

The house at Cornbury Park is now licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, and the lawns and terraces provide a stunning location for photographs and summer drinks receptions. Our parkland marquee site is a beautiful setting for a memorable wedding breakfast and evening party.

Cornbury Park will be yours exclusively on your wedding day and we want you to feel completely at home. Our friendly and experienced team will help you to organise every aspect of your wedding day.

Wedding Ceremonies at Cornbury
The Birdcage Hall is an intimate space for your civil wedding ceremony for up to 60 guests, whilst the larger Stone Hall is a romantic and grand setting, licensed for up to 100 guests. The Stone Porch is also licensed so, if the weather is fine, you can marry in the porch way and your guests can be seated outside on the lawn.

Should you decide to get married elsewhere you are welcome to host your reception afterwards at Cornbury Park.

We have teamed up with some exceptional marquee suppliers and caterers to offer a truly unique wedding package.

Whether you want a lavish banquet in a traditional English marquee or an informal buffet or barbeque in a tipi, we can help you organise your big day.

Our Marquee Site
The deer park surrounding the house is a stunning site for marquee wedding receptions. We organise a fully equipped marquee to suit your requirements and we work with three excellent local suppliers who offer either modern ‘clearspan’ marquees or quintessentially English traditional canvas pole tents. For something completely different, we can offer a Kata Tipi tent, originating from Finland. These amazing tents come with internal fire braziers, hand made wooden trestle tables, benches and reindeer skins!

Whichever marquee you choose, it comes fully carpeted throughout, with lighting, heating, dance floor, tables and chairs, a small catering annex and luxury loos. Since it is also equipped with a fully silenced 3-phase generator you have everything you need for a great party.

Catering
We know how important it is to have great food at your wedding and we are delighted to have teamed up with four outstanding caterers who have been carefully selected for the quality of their food, great customer service and value for money.

Menu prices start at about £45 for a 3-course menu.
